This is a letter of commendation on the excellent service provided by one of your technicians, Mike. My husband and I are new homeowners and are in the process of renovating our home. Our renovation efforts revealed that we have a lot of plumbing work to do and so we were looking for a capable and trust-worthy plumbing firm to turn to and establish a working relationship with. After calling a few firms that we looked up in the yellow pages (yours included), we decided to use Almeida and our decision was a direct result of our meeting with Mike.
At the estimate visit and during the actual work, Mike impressed us with his professionalism and helpfulness. Mike is very knowledgeable and he willingly shared his knowledge with us when we asked questions on how to bring our home’s plumbing up to date. At the estimate visit, Mike took into account our desires for updating our home, assessed our current situation and provided us with plausible and very acceptable solutions to many of our plumbing issues. I am writing to tell you of the exceptional service that I received yesterday from your technician Chad. It ended up costing more than I had bargained for, but Chad showed me the areas that needed to be addressed in addition to the problems that my untrained eyes had seen. He explained exactly what was needed in a clear and concise manner.
As I like to hover over and discuss what is being done with people that I have working on my stuff, Chad was patient and informative. I feel that Chad went above and beyond what is usually required in a service call. As such, I feel that Chad is an excellent representative of Almeida Plumbing. I recently had a problem with my gas burner and the gas company came out to my condo unit and had to shut the gas off to the burner. The repairman suggested I call in someone to repair the burner before the service could be restored. I looked in the yellow pages and you were one of the first ones I called. One company could not get here for 48 hours, another company does not work on residential homes. I called your company about 4:30 PM on Wednesday Dec, 28, by mid morning on Thursday; one of your servicemen, by the name of Tom was knocking on my front door. This was a very unusual week, between Christmas and New Years and on top of that my daughter was getting married on New Years Eve. We had a house full of out of town guests staying with us, presents all over the place, making plans for the wedding and then we had no heat! Tom came in, examined the burner, and explained what needed to be done and kept me informed every step of the way. He was very polite and in my opinion, very professional, even to the point of thoroughly cleaning his boots off at the front door so as not to track any dirt or mud in on the rugs. He cleaned up after himself when he was done (something that I have been trying to get my kids to do, but not with much success).
I thank you for your quick response for my need, and for hiring quality service men such as Tom. If I ever need service again, this time, YOU will be the first one that I call.
